D&D Designs
Spill Over Campaign
My pet project for the last 3 years! So far writing and assembling the designs/maps/npc's has taken 450 hours.
The story has evolved multiple times, each rewrite attempting to layer in complexities and commentary that stirs the players to action.
Alas, I am not the most skilled when it comes to drawing so the majority of the images I made with AI tools and then edited and overlayed to form a uniform design. None of the writing has been touched by AI. (The image below contains 15 layers of edits)
I use the website Owlbear.rodeo to host the game and interact with players.
This campaign has been run once to completion and took four players a year to finish the main plot.
Below is the games "Lore Bible" the document I send to new players to fill them in on the setting and systems of the world, along with background details to better aid in making their character. This took about 80 hours to write and edit.

The campaign has around 200 NPC's (Non-player characters) while nearly all characters are romanceable - these are the ones with 'special' unlockable outfits and plot perks. I wanted to incorporate some of my favorite video game aspects into the campaign, such as having the mystery of what characters fill these slots.
This application is an attempt to get players to flush out more of their characters thoughts, while D&D is deeply connected to combat, I want players to think about other paths.
Croma~ The Capital city of Crete! Version 4.5 made with Inkarnate. Lots and lots of layering, and that is without the interiors of homes and businesses, and the many NPC's that can be found wandering around.
I want this world to feel alive! All the campaigns I've been a player in took place in dungeons and forests. The story I want to create is centered on the lives that in Croma. This map is where all the Spill Over action will happen for my players.
Dungeons and Dragons is a game with a lot of lore - clearly. Beyond that is the need to simply learn how to play, how to have a player character interact with the world and use their specific skills. I felt that the Croma City map might be a little too intimidating so I made a tutorial island - taking place on the Eastern Quarter of Titan the sunken city. Players will start this one-shot session at either the headquarters of the Caelus outpost or the Ichor colony. From there I'll set them up with investigating the ruins for artifacts, rescuing people, and slaying beasts. While the events of this session might be more of a dream sequence when it comes to how cannon it is after the fact, hopefully it gives players a taste of the story to come.
